Elite Israeli Yoav Unit Capturing Arms Dealer
A footage circulating on social media shows how Yoav Unit officers, an elite special operations unit within the Israeli Police’s Southern District, apprehended an arms dealer following a high-speed motorcycle chase.
As shown in the video released by the unit, the chase began when the suspect attempted to flee during a police operation targeting illegal arms activity. The exact time and location of the incident remain unclear.
During the chase, one officer on a motorcycle fired at the suspect’s rear tires, causing the motorcycle to stop. Officers then moved in and made the arrest. No injuries have been reported.
Police have not released the suspect’s name but confirmed the individual is under investigation for arms trafficking.
