The Bellfire FRS IIIA Ballistic Shield provides multi-hit protection against level IIIA handgun rounds. Built to exceed military and law enforcement standards the FRS shield is top of line when it comes to weight, performance, and cost. The FRS is ideal for patrol officers, first responders and tactical deployments looking for a light weight and portable shield.
- Protection: Level IIIA Stand Alone against handgun rounds
- NIJ Standard 0108.01: Tested and verified to meet or exceed ballistic resistance as specified within NIJ Standard 0108.01 by an NIJ accredited laboratory
- Material: UHMWPE based material layup.
- Thinness: .50”
- Exterior Cover: 1000D & 500D Cordura®, Textured Nylon (removable & washable cover)
- Handle: Lightweight ergonomically designed ambidextrous handle
- Quick release: shoulder strap & shield carrying bag
- Front Hook & Loop: strip for ID Patch
- DWR: Water Resistant covers & optional FR-Fire retardant treatment available
- Warranty: 5 years on all ballistic material excluding exterior cover and 1 year on exterior cover material & workmanship
