Extremely comfortable shoulder pads. Spent 5+ hours in kit with them on and it changed the comfort level exponentially. Considerations depending on the carrier you’re utilizing is, these are thick and robust so on the velocity systems scarab for example, the shoulder straps are close together and with these shoulder pads on, there is a somewhat significant amount of pressure on the sides of your neck. Again, based on kit and size of the human using it, it may be a factor. The item itself is incredible.
