Multi-level protection against any spalling effect with this spall sleeve
The Chase Tactical RSS (Rifle Insert Anti Spall Sleeve) is optimally designed to mitigate spall and frag from steel armor rifle inserts. Rifle insert sleeve designed to reduce spall fragments from ballistic impact, spall sleeve does NOT provide ballistic protection. Chase Tactical Anti Spall Sleeve effectively helps shield against spalling (round fragmentation) by capturing the projectiles that ricochet off the armor plate.

- Protection: Rifle insert sleeve designed to reduce spall fragments from ballistic impact, spall sleeve does NOT provide ballistic protection
- Fit: Advanced protection for Chase Tactical AR500 and AR1000 rifle plates
- Aerial Density: 0.75 psf/AD for ballistic material
- Thinness: 0.35”
- Material: Enhanced blend of woven and unidirectional aramid fibers
- Multi-hit capabilities
- 400D polyurethane coated fabric enclosure for moisture resistance
- Rear and bottom opening for easy loading of rifle inserts
- Sonobond sealed rip stop water resistant cover

These are kind of a no-brainer if using steel plates.

I ordered the spall sleeve for a pair of plates I already had on hand. While they advertise not ballistic properties it feels akin to level 3a panels. Very high quality materials.
My only complaint is the fit of the sleeve over my plates. I ordered swimmers cut to match but it was too snug. While it all still fits in my carrier, it doesn’t completely fit around the plates. Maybe this is a proprietary fit? 🤷♂️
